Description

Visible to the naked eye, Alcyone, Atlante, Elettra, Maia, Merope, Taigete, Pleione, Celleno and Asterope form the wonderful cluster of the Pleiades, the most famous and recognized linked, since ancient times, to tales and legends that have been handed down to the present day from different civilizations and cultures. Located just 400 light years from our solar system, in the constellation of Taurus, the Pleiades are a complex of stars, blue and white giants, very bright close together, wrapped in clouds and reflecting dust that light up and "reflect" the radiation emitted by the stars themselves.
