Description

California Nebula (NGC 1499) in SHO palette.
It took a few months to collect all data for this image, but it was worth the effort.
Great object of the northern sky located in located in the constellation Perseus. It is almost 2.5° long on the sky, which means that it is 5 time bigger than full Moon!
This nebula offers enormous amount of Hα, substantive Sulfur amounts and little Oxygen.
I'm very happy with the final result of this winter project.
