Description

I was attempting to gather some very faint objects from my bortle 4 skies during clear nights last fall. I was fiddling with different types of binning to see if I could increase the signal to no avail.

I wen through 4 or 5 edits that I never liked the final product. The final still has a lot to be desired, but I decided to post it after all these months to show my progress and to remind myself how even lack luster projects still have value.  In the end, I used mostly Ha stars, but forgot to remove the combo stars  around the bright halos....lol... to late to go back.

I completed this capture with the ASi 1600 MM and will likely try to recapture it with the ASI 294 MM to directly compare this year.

LBN 576 is a quite dim  Supernova Remnant approximately 10,000 light years from earth in the constellation of Cassiopeia.
