Description

This was taken out at the Devils River State Natural Area in Texas, during a New Moon weekend. I know for this target I should be using my 1600MM pro and narrowband filters, but seeing as how I was in Bortle 2 skies I figured I could try to push my OSC camera. Plus my 1600mm was attached to my c90 at the time. Captured with my 294MC Pro and Redcat 51 on my Star Adventurer and using an l-enhance. I feel like I took more time just trying to get it in frame than actually capturing any light, even though my integration time says otherwise and still didn't really succeed. With my phone I used the asiair to take a short exposure and annotate it (it was way too faint to show up on a full exposure), then with my tablet I had sky safari open and would use that to try and figure out where in the hell I was actually pointed. Then I would make a small adjustment (usually in the wrong direction) and repeat. I included my initial 1-min edit as a revision (ABE, EZ Stretch, Curves).
