Description

This Astrobin Debut Object is a planetary nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia at a declination of +65 degrees.  It is a magnitude 18 PN which spans 10 arc-seconds in our apparent view, a bit larger than our current apparent size of the planet Mercury.

No information is available for this object.   If it has the typical PN diameter of 2 light years, it is located 30,000 light years away.

This looks like an elliptical PN.  Like many PN, the outer rim is stronger in HII while the inner section is stronger in OIII.  The progenitor star is not visible.  This object looks a lot like Kohoutek 3-94, just a lot dimmer.
