Description

This Astrobin Debut Object is a faint blue reflection nebula located 1400 light years away in the constellation of Lepus at a declination of -14 degrees. The nebula spans 5 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 2 light years. A touch of purple is seen in parts of the nebula, suggesting some Ha content.

Like most dark and reflection nebulae, this object has not been the source of much study or documentation.
