Description

The crater seen just to the left of center is known as Copernicus, named after the famous astronomer and mathematician Nicolaus Copernicus who first proposed that the Sun, and not the Earth, was the center of the Universe. This distinct impact crater is roughly 30km wide and contains 3 mountainous features each climbing as high as 1.2km off the floor.

We are star dust.
