The sky looked fairly clear when I setup but when the first sub came in it was obvious that some faint cloud was continually moving through. Undeterred I carried on as I still wanted to see what a quick 4 panel mosaic of Orion would look like. I need on optimising the position angle of the camera, but the image here is just 30 x 30s (15 minutes) per panel. In hindsight, the L-eNhance would have brought out loads more of the Ha especially in the upper part of the image showing Barnard's Loop.
I thought this was still worth uploading if only to show the Samyang's capabilities at F2 in such a short space of time and in less than ideal conditions.
Have a glance at the revision image which gives a glimpse into the sub quality and cloud!
Captured with Voyager, stacked & calibrated in APP and lightly processed in PixInsight - mainly just trying to remove the cloud, nothing else.
Mosaic was created by integrating each frame in APP, taking into PixInsight for DBE then back into APP to stitch it all together.
