Description

A mere test to see how the NEQ6 is doing. It's a hell of a lot more difficult to get this mount polar aligned!

Compared to the HEQ5.

It's useless to try and use the alignement bolts on the NEQ6 for horizontal or vertical adjustments. They simply do not move anymore with all the weight of the scope and weights. Stars are not round.

Also I did not spent enought time on this object as I was eager to turn to Jupiter before the GRS would dissappear. Unfortunately the seeing was so bad I did not get anything.

I'm already happy to see that within minutes and under a pretty bad sky (SQM 20,20) it's possible to get stars from magnitude 16 on the plate.
