Description

I did some equipment testing last night and so I also decided to practice again with my star tracker and the DSLR. Since it was about testing and keeping practice, I didn't set my expectations high and probably so should you when you come to take a closer look at my image. Also, another issue was clouds. There is no single sub frame which doesn't show faint clouds. Therefore, the image integration itself is problematic. In order to get as much clouds as possible removed, I chose to use "Median" for the image combination method. Although under highly sub-optimal conditions, there's some detail but not much. In the end, I'm uploading this image mostly for documentary purposes.

Image integration was done in PixInsight. All further processing in Affinity Photo.

Title: Full-moon or AKA close-to-daylight-photography

Description: This is the "raw" image stack (median) with the (unlinked) STF in PI applied. You can see how the moon highlights everything. It felt like daylight photography.
