Description

Yet another placeholder as I work my way through a tricolor acquisition - which is taking longer than expected since the fog is unseasonably back in the East Bay of San Francisco.

As in the case of my Ha-only acquisition I have kept sharpening to a minimum, as I like the fuzzy wispy version better (they are gas clouds after all, how sharp can they really be ?!)

Exposures so far:

- 25 x 30m subs in Ha (5nm)

- 20 x 30m subs in OIII (3nm)

total exposure time: 22.5 hours.

In this rendition, I have mapped Ha to Red and OIII to Blue. I have then created a synthetic green channel and extensively tweaked the hue and a/b ratios in L-ab mode to get a yellow/red over blue color scheme...
