Description

This picture shows central part of the Wanning Moon as at 21 Dec 2013 at 06:48 UTC.
At the bottom left corner there is Copernicus Crater, diameter 93 km, with long light rays
On the top right direction from the Copernicus Crater you can see Montes (mountains) Apenninus long 401 km where in Northern part of it Apollo 15 landed (4th manned landing, 1st long-duration mission spending 3 Earth days and 1st rover on the Moon).
In the top right part of the picture there are parts of 2 large seas: Mare Serenitatis (diameter 707 km) and Mare Tranquillitatis (873 km).
