Description

This image is the sum of 388 60 secs unduiged subs tken during the night of the 20th of May 2022 with a Newton Orion Usa 250 F3.9 + omegon Coma Corrector + QHY268M camera + PrimaLuceLab UHC filter + Ioptron CEM60EC. Aquisition, stacking and processing (gradient removal, deconvultion and stars correction) with Astroart 8. A lot of wind  from 2 am to 5 am made some large size stars. 8 flats applied. This beautiful galaxy need at least one more night of integration.


NGC 2336 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation Camelopardalis. It is located at a distance of circa 100 million light years from Earth, which, given its apparent dimensions, means that NGC 2336 is about 200,000 light years across. It was discovered by Wilhelm Tempel in 1876. (Wikipedia)
