This image is first light from my new home in Strathalbyn, South Australia. Captured with a modded Canon 1000D and a Long Perng 80mm f6 achromat, a Williams Optics P-Flat88 field flattener and a William Optics VR1 filter.

Unusual star shapes in the corners which I have seen repeatedly with this camera with various scopes and lenses - possibly sensor tilt. Consequently this image has been resized to 50% of the original size to improve the stellar profile.
