Description

Good seeing (Pickering 7-8/10). Excellent view through 5 mm eyepiece. 7" Maksutov-Newton at f/30, Philips ToUCam.

Visible details at CM 129°: South Polar Cap (SPC) very small, Mare Sirenum central at CM, Phaetontis south of Mare Sirenum. Solis Lacus with Daedalia and Tithonius Lacus on p-side. Olympus Mons (Nix Olympica - the orographic cloud) can be seen as a bright white spot on the surface, Northern Polar Hood (NPH) decreasing.
