Description

Tycho always seems to attract me magically. After fighting the seeing with the 2.5xBarlow for almost the entire evening, I wanted to treat myself to a few quiet moments at the end of the recording session. Without that "damn thing" and now with only 2030mm focal length, a gain of 72, an exposure time of 6.6 ms and 66 fps, even focusing was much easier. Because of the lack of experience I still have difficulties grading the seeing, but that evening it seemed to be quite ok. I was able to stack 400 frames out of 5000.

After the wavelet sharpening with Registax, I was able to work out the fascinating radiation system from Tycho better with Lightroom in the final step. Even though I am reasonably satisfied with the result, as always it was very difficult for me to choose between soft, sharp and super sharp when editing the image. I am comforted that astrophotography professionals like Rudi also have the same problem ;-).

As always, I look forward to recommendations and harsh criticism.
