Description

If you attempt this, may you have better luck than I.

So this is four hours of total Ha (61 x 4 minutes) with no processing, no flats, no darks. I just wanted to see if it was worth doing in Ha anyway. My results suggest the answer is NO. Selliarium had it listed as an Ha region so I went ahead and tried it since the moon was coming up. I like to try different objects and sometimes you get a gem and others not.

The only image I have seen of this on Astrobin is a 1-hour Ha starless version

Link (https://www.astrobin.com/vigg2s/?nc=collection) from Alexander Zaitsev which looks really good. I checked on the Sharpless Catalog, after imaging, and they said this object does not pick up anything in Ha and recommend LRGB only.

I may try Luminosity under good conditions but I am a little discouraged with this object especially since there not many images of this object. It is located in Pegasus very close to Markab.
