Description

Just a final Sombrero teaser before I move on. (-:

This used four of the lowest FWHM 30 minute subs (2 hours) from my prior project (1.95 to 2.16"). But the aspect ratio on these subs varied between 8 and 14%, so stars are not as round as I'd like. Altitude for all 4 subs was around 44 degrees.

I turned down the midrange brightness a bit more than we typically see to expose more of the central area, but still maintain a "smooth" feel.

Two deconvolution levels were used. A lighter one for the background to minimize rings and a stronger one for the bright galaxy where rings don't form.

Something a little different I suppose?
