Description

The Soul Nebula in Cassiopeia is a complex star formation region in about 7000 LJ distance, covering nearly four full moon diameters in the sky. Hosting several open clusters with multiple star generations, it provides insight into fundamental dynamic star formation processes.

Right next to the Soul Nebula, the Heart Nebula waits for some telescope modifications and some clear skies.

Being the first time i used this setup, i arranged the backfocus distance by assembling some adaptors close to the specified backfocus distance. However, even when ~1mm shorter than that (considering optical thickness of filter), when narrowband filter in use the distance turned out to be way too large. Even the RGB frames without filters suffer from chromatic artifacts and elongated stars. Hence, i'll upload only a binned and cropped version of this.
