Description

The big galaxy ngc 7331, mag. 9.5, Sb spiral, distance 46 MLy, is the brightest member of the 'Deer Lick' group of galaxies in Pegasus. There are many other fainter galaxies recorde in the image, including ngc 7325, 7326, 7335, 7337 and 7340.

I always image this group every year, this is the result of 32 x 120 sec exposures sigma combined in AstroArt 3.

One of many fascinating galaxies in this region.
