Description

Back in Feb. I imaged M95 in Leo and also M96, which is close by in the sky to M95.

Here's M96 and the most interesting feature of this image, in my opinion, is the presence of the little edge-on spiral, 2MFCG 8391, which appears

at first sight to be embedded within the spiral arms of M96. Somewhat surprisingly, I can find no redshift information on this interesting galaxy.

M96 is a nice looking galaxy anyway and the presence of the edge-on galaxy certainly adds interest to the image.
