Description

This is my interpretation of the moon and its colors. I tried a new technique this time. Many would argue: "stacking DSLR moon images does not help, the moon must be filmed". My technique shows that also stacking DSLR images can lead to incredible details.

120 shots a' 1/500s
20 Flats
20 Darks

Calibrated, aligned and stacked with Pixinsight, small wiener filtering and several small iterations increasing the saturation.

Update for all my friends here:
link to the 4k background image for your desktop if you like, it shows much more details, the format is 16:9, no retransmission please, only for your private use
