Description

This nebula is not far from its more famous neighbor IC1396 the Elephant Trunk nebula. I could not find any common name however someone said it had a a similar structure to the Seagull nebula only on  a much smaller scale. This nebula has a very bright edge illuminated by a cluster of very bright stars, next to a  glorious dark and dusty area. A fascinating nebula.

I tried several techniques to reduce stars, in the end however I decided to keep them as the star field was so dense that all reduction technique's led to crazy artifacts.
