Description

Following the pervious night where Comet Leonard transited across NGC 4631 -The Whale Galaxy (SEE my ASTROBIN: https://astrob.in/w7f99l/C/) the comet was still able to be captured with an APS-C sensor and @ 620mm fl.  The moonlight still hampered imaging all but the brightest stuff so the surrounding IFN and fainter galaxies were not caught.  462x15 second light frames were stacked in Bortle 2 skies with high altitude thin air helped a little keeping the moonlight at bay somewhat.

Looks like the comet is brightening since the tail has been captured to transverse the frame under similar conditions as last night.

Widefield scopes here we go.
