This H(HO)O image is the result of a second data collaboration initiative with
@Lee where we shared our Ha and OIII data collected with our Samyang 135mm + ASI183MM combinations mounted on our CEM25/26 mounts. Very clear nights in the UK are rare; the combination of very clear and moonless are even more rare. With particularly faint objects like Sh2-240 it makes sense to combine data collected with identical setups in order to try to achieve a 'finished' image - if there ever is such a thing in astro photography.
In addition to the shared Samyang+183 data there is also 7.5 hours of OIII data taken with my RedCat 51 + ASI1600MM at f4.9
As always sharing data is not the only benefit. Exchanging critique of processed images and sharing ideas on processing methodologies is almost of more benefit than the data itself and without doubt sharing data and processing techniques results in a real and tangible synergy to the resulting image. As an aside sharing setbacks and frustrations is of equal benefit.
