This is the Lagoon Nebula in SHO. 12 hours captured from my backyard last month in May.
Processing:
Individual frames were all cropped and then had TGVDenoise and MMT noise reduction applied (Jon Rista method
https://jonrista.com/the-astrophotographers-guide/pixinsights/effective-noise-reduction-part-2/). The Ha channel was also deconvoluted as this channel almost always has the best signal and structure.
Frames were then taken non-linear with manual histogram stetches.
Frames were combined with SHO-AIP script and then had TGVDenoise and curve tweaks run before combining this 'RGB'(SHO) image with the Ha as Luminance via the HaRVB-AIP scipt.
SCNR followed by star reduction with Morphological transformation and then 2 passes of LHE (50 and 150 kernal radius).
HDR multiscale transfrom on layers with 1 iteration to bring out the inner core and then various cures with a lum mask in place.
Invert, SCNR at 50%, Invert to remove magenta cast mostly in the stars
Color saturation and MLT sharpening with combined star masks to protect as many stars as possible and then DarkStructureEnhance script and some final LHE and HT tweaks.
Some selective color and level adjustments in Affinity Photo and saved for web.
