Description

In order to avoid too many Likes (smile) I uploaded the 7-days old moon of March 2nd (a three-panel mosaic) as the original (final), and images taken during the same session as revisions. These are the first images taken with a Pro-Planet IR742 pass filter. The master image (half moon) is a test with a with an HβOII / HαSII quad band pass filter. By coincidence the filters are parfocal. The IR742 is the better performer on the Moon, that what it is designed for.

The air was clear but shivering and trembling. I kneel and bow in front of the authors of image stacking software.
