Abell 39 est une nébuleuse planétaire située dans la constellation d’Hercule en dessous du grand amas M13. La nature l’a dotée d’une particularité spécifique: elle est quasiment sphérique!

C’est une nébuleuse assez ténue mais l’une des plus grande NP connue.

On peut y distinguer pas mal de petites galaxies autour ainsi que dans son centre mon échantillonnage étant trop grand pour révéler leur détail.

Concernant l’acquisition, c’est une version LRVB à laquelle j’ai ajouté du Oiii.

L’absence de lune pendant cette prise sur 3 nuits a permis de mettre légèrement en évidence l’ifn qui l’entoure. Je ne m’attendais pas ça car je n’en avais vu sur aucune version auparavant. Le traitement a donc été un peu plus compliqué afin de la conserver et la mettre en valeur.

Attention à ne pas confondre cette petite nébuleuse avec Abell 33 qui se situe dans l’hydre!

Abell 39 is a planetary nebula located in Hercule’s constellation below the large cluster M13. Nature has endowed it with a specific characteristic: it is almost spherical!

It’s a fairly faint nebula but one of the largest known NP.

We can distinguish a lot of small galaxies around as well as in its center my sampling being too large to reveal their detail.

Regarding the acquisition, this is an LRVB version to which I added Oiii.

The absence of the moon during this take over 3 nights made it possible to slightly highlight the ifn which surrounds it. I didn't expect that because I hadn't seen it on any version before. The treatment was therefore a little more complicated in order to preserve and enhance it.

Be careful not to confuse this little nebula with Abell 33 which is located in the hydra!
