A great year with great new shots but especially with a further developed PixInsight workflow lies behind me. 2022 was all about new tools / plugins that allow you to squeeze even more details out of your raw data. And of course, I've been constantly expanding my knowledge with the help of great tutorials and websites.
In particular, the tools from Russell Croman have made a decisive contribution to me. At the beginning of December, Russell's latest coup came out: BlurXTerminator. The first tests with old data simply blew me away and I would like to share my results with you. I went back to the Lion Nebula from 2021 (see

For a better comparison, the two image sections from 2021 and 2022 are compared with each other.
The stars are very crisp and pinpointed. The nebula parts show much more details and are very sharp.
In summary, I am really flashed and impressed. The comparison impressively shows how quickly our tools are evolving. Thanks to all of you that make contributions here! I'm already looking forward to 2023.
