The object was discovered on February 11, 1893 by William Frederick Denning. Tympler classification II1r. Apparent brightness 11.7 mag. Size 8.4 ‘. Distance 10700 light years. Up to Mag 18.5, 1420 stars were counted, up to Mag 19.5 over 7000.
