Description

This object is a rarely imaged HII emission nebula located 20,000 light years away in the constellation of Cassiopeia at a declination of +63 degrees. The nebula spans about 20 arc-minutes in our apparent view, which corresponds to a diameter of 100 light years.

The structure of the HII emission is interesting in that there appears to be a faint broken ring of emission, with several emission arcs outside of the ring but concentric to it. But the structure is very loose, to the point that there could be no definitive pattern here at all. Based on its size, it is possible that this object is an ancient supernova remnant, although its structure doesn't look quite right to me for it to be one.

I could find little information in the literature on this object.
