Description

Now it was the time to go to the east side of the SMC, where a number of clusters and gaseous structures are located. Using Simbad database, apart from the objects identifies by plate solving, you have Lindsay 7, 17 and 27, also HW 8, 11 and 14, and many ESO open clusters.

In this side of the SMC it seems to be a more precise border, at least a visual one.
There is a lot of information about both, the SMC and the LMC, so I am not going to try to add anything, except to share that, when I was a child, and the night sky was not so polluted, these galaxies make a quite profound impression at the naked eye observation.
I used to look at the moon, Jupiter and Saturn, with a very rudimentary scope, a Galileo type but pointing to these clouds gave no real image, just more milky shapes. So now I am enjoying the view, and happy to be able to do that.
