Description

Our moon is like a relic from the formation history of our solar system and is very similar to our planet. It also consists largely of fragments of our young planet, which several times hurled large rock fragments into space by impacts. This can still be seen on the moon today, because the colored areas are mineral salts that can also be found on Earth. Blue areas are titanium salts, for example, which can also be found here with us.
