Description: This image is not a revision in the typical sense ... it's more a cropped part of the original with a certain surplus. Observing the M 45-transit of Venus outdoor and here on astrobin I suddenly noticed that there are so many images of Merope's Nebula ... but they are mainly pictures of IC 1435 aka Temples's Nebula. The much more interesting object ... IMHO, because I really like to catch these faint Arps and Abells ... IC 349 aka Barnard's Merope Nebula is seldom shown ... yepp, even seldom factual visible beneath that bright star Merope.

And so I post my example of this ... rare :) ... object, even if it is not so detailed and impressive as the showpieces of Łukasz Sujka, Sascha Schueller or Rudolf Riedl.
