Description

IC 1318 is an emission nebula in the Cygnus constellation, about 4,000 light-years away. Its glow comes as a result of nearby stars releasing streams of charged particles known as stellar winds, which ionize the gases, causing them to emit light.IC 1318 is often known as the Gamma Cygni Nebula and can be seen around the star Sadr, although the nebula and the star are unassociated and Sadr is not the cause of the emission nebula’s glow.

Taken over 7 separate nights in May and early June, 2021

Description: Tried another HOO blend that accentuates the pink/red hues commonly seen with Ha rich nebulae such as this. Not such which one I like better.
