The Effects of the Lightpollution

Das obige Foto zeigt die Auswirkung der Lichtverschmutzung in meiner Umgebung.

Links im Bild geht die Milchstrasse als blasses Band auf.

Man muss etwas genauer hinsehen, um sie zu erkennen, und die südliche Hälfte ist im Licht verschwunden.

Die dominierende Lichtquelle im rechten Teil ist die Stadt München und ihre Umgebung.

Die Lichter auf Bodenhöhe weiter links ist die BMW-Teststrecke nahe des Speichersees (48°13' N, 11°13' E).

Man muss noch dazu sagen, dass die Luftfeuchte in dieser Nacht ziemlich hoch war, aber dennoch ist die Auswirkung der Lichtverschmutzung extrem hoch auch wenn dieser Standort relativ weit außerhalb der Stadtgrenzen ist.

Das Bild setzt sich aus sieben Einzelbelichtungen je 20s bei Blende 3.5 und ISO 1600 und 10 Darks zusammen. Die Bildüberlagerung ist nicht ganz gut aber das wesentliche ist zu erkennen.

Für Weitfeldaufnahmen der Milchstrasse ist dieser Ort nur bedingt geeignet, da hilft wirklich nur eins:

Schade eigentlich, dass das so sein muss!

The upper picture shows the effects of the Lightpollution in my area.

The Milky-Way rises as faint band in the left part of the image.

You have to look closely to see it, and the southern part drowns in the light.

The dominant light-source in the right part is the City of Munich and its suburbs.

The lights at groundlevel in the left part is the BMW Testdrive-facility near the Speichersee (48°13' N, 11°13' E).

I have to mention that this particular night was pretty humid, but nevertheless the effects are extremely high, although this spot of the image is relatively outside of the city-borders.

This image is a combination of seven single-exposures of 20s with an aperture of 3.5 at ISO 1600 and 10 Darks. The alignment is not perfect, but the essentiel part is visible.

This place is limited of creating good Widefield-Images of the Milky-Way. Only one thing left:

Let's go to the wilderness!

It's sad that it has to be this way!
