Description

NGC 4698 is an Sa galaxy located in the direction of the Constellation Virgo at an approximate distance of 60 Million Light-years. It is described as an early-type spiral hosting a bright nuclear bulge of gas and stars rotating perpendicularly to the plane of the main disc. A series of concentric faint arms surround the nuclear bulge.
