Description

The dwarf elliptical galaxy M110 (NGC 205) is one of the larger satellite galaxies of the Andromeda Galaxy M31.
The angular size of 21.9’x11’ corresponds to physical dimension of 16500x8300 light years, at a distance of 2.59 million light years from Earth.
Near the centre of the galaxy it is possible to see dust structures.
Inside M100 astronomers have discovered young stellar population, so this is the proof that also in a dwarf galaxy processes of stellar formations can take place.
(Text adapted from “The Cambridge Photographic Atlas of galaxies")

I found this galaxy not so easy to process: the halo is faint and if I try to lighten a bit the noise comes up.
Anyway, the dust structures near the core are very interesting.

Title: New processing from scratch

Description: I was able to reinforce the brightness of the galaxy without losing details on the core/dust structures and keeping noise under control. In addition it is more visible the stellar bridge starting from M110 and arriving to the external parts of M31 in the lower right side of the image.
