Description

Pythagoras is a large impact crater on the Moon on the northwestern edge of the Moon's front, southeast of the crater Carpenter. Pythagoras shows a pronounced, terraced wall and has a central mountain with several peaks. The depth is given as 5250 m. Height of the central mountain range of 3000 m and diameter about 145km.
