Description

Some gaps between the clouds allowed me to shoot Mars again. Maybe the last time for this opposition period. The seeing was not really bad, but also not really good.

I had to choose a quite long equivalent focal lenght (11000mm-by using eyepiece projection)

because the pixel size of the camera (Canon EOS C100) is 12.8 micrometer. This is much more than typical planetary cameras (~3 micrometer). But fortunately the sensitivity (low light performance) is really good. This compensates the slow optics (f/54).
