Description

NGC 2403 is a spiral galaxy that lies some 8 million light years away in the northern constellation Camelopardalis. It's quite similar in appearance to M33, the Triangulum galaxy, and is about 50000 light years in diameter with many star forming H-II regions. The largest of which is NGC2404, and is almost 1000 light years in diameter, making it one of the largest of such regions known.
