Description

Mars before midnight on Wed 14 Oct 2020 ADST - annotated version.

Sinus Meridiani is approaching central meridian while a linear Coprates feature (coinciding with Valles Marineris canyon) is rising over the cloudy F limb. Blue clouds dominate northern polar latitudes also.

Remnant of South Polar Cap is fringed by a crimson coloured region and Noachis Terra to its north is pockmarked by dark spots (the two main ones associated with Darwin and Russell craters). Pityusa Rupes is north east of the SPC and pointing at the Hellas Basin setting over the P limb. Concentric ring of Argyre Planitia impact basin is well resolved in the south west.
