Description

NGC 5560/5566/5569 is a interacting galaxy trio called ARP 286 in a distance of about 79 Mio Lj.

The sizes of the Galaxies are 3,6x0,9 - 4,4 x 1,5 - 1,7 x 1,6 arcmin.

The biggest galaxy has a real diameter of 150.000 Lj.

At the lower end of the picture are 3 other gaaxies:

NGC 5577 with a size of 3,2 x 0,9 arcmin and a distance of 66 Mio Lj - spiralgalaxy

NGC 5576 with a size of 3,8 x 2,7 arcmin and a distance of 67 Mio Lj - lenticular

NGC 5574 with a size of 1,0 x 0,5 arcmin and a distance of 67 Mio Lj - lenticular
