Description

M106 with a few companions with my dSLR+lens+SkyGuider tracker. First night with ASIair's multi-star guiding. While it is just a small tracker it still does pretty good with around .7"-1" total rms error with multistar guiding, just a slight improvement from averaging around .9"-1.2" before. I also dither as aggressive as it lets me. I must apologize my image is left with a bit of a donut pattern, seems my flats aren't properly calibrating things.

Description: I re-shot some flats after the fact, and did a reprocess. Results slightly better. I did not like the donut-shape vignette that was going on in the original. Its still there a little but overall much improved. Also adjusted colors ever so slightly. Usually I have not adjusted channels independently after photometric calibration, but the image had a bit of green tint and not quite the slightly purple often seen in the galaxy so I tried tweaking it a little.
