Description

Polar ring galaxy in LRGB.

This was shot between  October and Mid November 2021.  With Epsilon 130d piggy backing on the RC, the mount is at its limit. I wanted to limit the length of the subs (unguided) and tried shooting 5 minute subs. The mount has been tracking very well and has no problem with the load. I will switch back to 10 min subs in the future.

My main objective here was to capture as much fainter background galaxies along with the main target. I also snagged multiple asteroid transits during this run! I am quite happy with the way it turned out.
