Description

This is my first serious image with the new Apo. It was easy to setup (though i should have rotated the FoV lesser, my fault) and i am really surprised how good this went. We had a lot of high clouds and humidity, so the subs didn't look really good and i had to stop imaging after a few hours because the clouds became too dense then. But the outcome was unexpectedly good. There are still several things i can work on - but it should be easier once the clouds leave germany. One thing is my sloppy background extraction - will redo that tomorrow and upload a new version, there is more in the data.
And one of my bigger wishes became true: The wider FoV and the lesser focal length (compared to my RC) leads to an easier to handle setup and i can image all the bigger objects at last.

Yes! I am having so much fun with this hobby! Often there are so many problems and things to do and to try something out and then this and that does not work - but then, after a lot of trial and error, you are rewarded with an image you are proud of. Priceless :-)

[Edit]: Reprocessed with a better DBE. But maybe the colors are not so good?
