Description

Located in the constellation Ursa Major, this galaxy is approximately 25 million light-years from Earth. It's diameter is roughly twice that of our Milky Way and contains an estimated one trillion stars.

I imaged this galaxy on July 1, July 30 and August 1 of 2019 at Mt. Pinos, CA. As described below in the comments, I was not happy with the original results and reprocessed the data set (50, 5 minute sub-frames) in the spring of 2020.

In July 2020, I cropped the image and resubmitted.
