Description

Sometimes I have stupid ideas like this one. I was interested to see, if I can catch the cosmic horseshoe with my C11.

I collected on nights of reasonable seeing from mid of April until 10th of May around 6 hrs of data. unfortunately only 4 hrs. were good enough to see a max. 12 arcsec target in some detail.

Due to long rain weather I could not get any more data this year. Next year I will continue to collect some more.

For comparison I put the Hubble picture beside my one. You can find a very small, weak but similar looking structure roughly in the middle of the field of view.

Its weak but its already there!

The small galaxy center down is PGC 1591614 with a size of 0,34 x 0,27 arcmin only.
