Description

This was done as a "filler" project while waiting for my primary target to rise. I realized that M33 and the core of the constellation Triangulum would fit in the field of view of my Canon T6i and the Rokinon 85mm, so I set up a sequence and took 128 minutes of images.

M33 is not particularly well-defined, I probably need to shoot a little slower, at f/4.8 or even f/5.6 to tighten up the images, but if I really want better definition, I'm better off to just move to a longer focal length. I'd say the thing that continues to "surprise" me is how many stars I pick up in these fields. I guess I'm showing my age by remembering how few stars would show up on film.
