Ngc6604 est un amas d'étoiles situé dans la constellation du serpent. Elle est entourée d'une nébuleuse à dominante Ha du catalogue sharpless: sh2-54
Elle surplombe la célèbre nébuleuse de l'aigle M16 ainsi que la nébuleuse oméga M17 qui font partie de cette ensemble de gaz diffus.

Ngc6604 is a star cluster located in the constellation of the serpent. It is surrounded by a dominant Ha nebula from the sharpless catalog: sh2-54
It overlooks the famous eagle nebula M16 as well as the omega nebula M17 which are part of this set of diffuse gases.
